Connect your osu! client to osudesu

The 2-minute setup

osudesu works with the regular osu! client — no patched builds, no sketchy launchers. The client just needs one launch flag:

  1. Create an account on the site (email confirmation takes a minute).
  2. Find your osu! shortcut → right-click → Properties.
  3. In the Target field, append a space and -devserver osudesu.su after osu!.exe. It should look like: "C:\osu!\osu!.exe" -devserver osudesu.su
  4. Launch osu! through that shortcut and sign in with your osudesu login.

That's it. Your scores now submit to our leaderboards, PP is calculated server-side (including Relax and Autopilot), and your rank updates live.

Switching back to Bancho

Nothing is modified in your install. Launch osu! without the flag (or from a second, clean shortcut) and you're back on the official server. Keep two shortcuts side by side — most of our players do exactly that.

What you get on osudesu

Global and country PP leaderboards for every mode, separate Relax and Autopilot ladders, clans with weekly wars, competitive seasons, osu!direct-style map downloads and a web player that runs right in the browser — handy when you're not at your gaming PC.

Troubleshooting

  • «Incorrect password» — the account is on osudesu, not Bancho: register on this site first, and sign in with these credentials only when the flag is active.
  • Stuck at login — check that the flag is written after the closing quote of the exe path, with a space.
  • Anti-cheat flags — we run server-side replay validation; legit plays never get flagged for using a devserver switch.
  • Anything else — ping us in Discord, the team answers fast.

FAQ

Is connecting to a private server bannable on Bancho?

The -devserver flag is a built-in osu! feature and doesn't touch your official account or install. Your Bancho profile stays untouched; scores on osudesu live in a completely separate universe.

Do I need to re-download my maps?

No. Your local maps work as-is. Missing ones can be grabbed via our osu!direct-style search or the beatmaps page on the site.

Which client versions are supported?

Current osu! stable builds. Lazer isn't supported yet — stable is where the PP ladder lives.

Can I play without installing anything?

Yes — the web player runs osu!standard right in your browser: hit circles, sliders, spinners, mods and replays included.
